Summer Camp for the Soul
A women's retreat designed for rest, play, connection, and a little wild adventure, deep in the jungle canopy of Belize.
Reserve Your Spot"You wake before the world asks anything of you. Mist hangs low over the Belize rainforest, birds call from the canopy, and warm coffee rests in your hands as you sit on the veranda of your eco-lodge. For the first time in a long time, there is nowhere you need to be and no one you need to manage."
"Laugh, explore, and stretch beyond your comfort zone alongside women who quickly feel like friends. Between adventure and quiet reflection, remember how good it feels to play, be present, and choose yourself."
You hold everything together. The schedules. The careers. The emotional labor. The invisible load no one else sees. But somewhere in the process, you disappeared from your own life. This retreat is designed for the woman who is ready to trade survival mode for real, rooted rest.
There is something about the density of a rainforest canopy, the sound of the Macal River, and the slower rhythm of jungle life that settles the nervous system in a way concrete never can. At Chaa Creek, we guide you through therapist-led practices that gently downshift your stress response, surrounded by the deep green hush of the Cayo District.
Not a crash. Not a breakdown. A structured, supported reset, rooted in the wild.
This retreat is intentionally intimate: a small circle of women gathering in a space where vulnerability is welcomed and expertly held. Guided group sessions create meaningful connection without emotional overwhelm. You leave with more than memories. You leave with sisterhood.
Through somatic workshops, river mornings, and jungle trail walks, we help you reconnect with physical presence. The rainforest becomes your co-therapist. Its green stillness accelerates a kind of healing sterile environments never could.
This is your invitation to put yourself back on the list. You'll have space to tune in to what you need, breathe a little deeper, and remember that caring for yourself is not selfish.
Trade the routine for rainforest trails, new experiences, big laughter, and the kind of play that reminds you there is still so much life waiting for you.
For six amazing days, you do not have to plan the meals, manage the schedule, solve the problem, or keep everyone else happy. You can simply arrive, exhale, and let yourself be cared for.
Here, rest is not a reward you have to earn. It is part of the experience. You will be surrounded by women who understand the weight you carry and will remind you that you are allowed to receive, too.
You'll share meaningful conversations, jungle adventures, quiet moments, and the kind of laughter that makes strangers feel like friends. You will leave with more than memories; you will leave feeling seen, supported, and more connected to yourself.
An intentionally curated jungle retreat hosted at the award-winning Chaa Creek, Cayo District
Set along the Macal River in the foothills of Belize's Cayo District, Chaa Creek is a family-run, multi-award-winning eco-resort. Thatched-roof cottages sit among 400+ acres of private nature reserve, with jungle trails, a natural history museum, medicinal plant walks, and a butterfly farm on-site. It is a place built for slowing down, not performing wellness.
This is not escapism. It is intentional immersion in healing.
Nestled in the Belize rainforest, your eco-lodge is a gentle invitation to slow down. Evenings settle in with warm air, jungle sounds, and the kind of quiet that helps your whole body soften.
Here, nature and comfort meet beautifully. You will stay in thoughtfully designed eco-lodges with the cozy, elevated touches of a four-star resort: inviting beds, beautiful spaces, nourishing meals, refreshing pool, and small details that make it easy to feel cared for.
There are quiet corners for reading, journaling, or simply doing nothing at all. There are open spaces for shared meals, meaningful conversations, movement, laughter, and the friendships that form when women finally have room to exhale together.
Outside your door, the rainforest is waiting. Jungle trails, rivers, ancient ruins, and wide-open green views offer a little awe, a little adventure, and a reminder that there is a whole world beyond the routine.
This is not roughing it. It is the kind of place where you can feel close to nature, deeply comfortable, and completely held.
Freshly prepared Belizean meals are part of the care woven into every day. Expect seasonal fruit, local vegetables, vibrant flavors, and thoughtfully prepared proteins; made with ingredients from the earth, and served in a setting that invites you to slow down.
From colorful breakfasts to shared dinners, each meal is a chance to savor, connect, and let someone else take care of the details. We will do our best to thoughtfully accommodate dietary needs and preferences.
This retreat moves at a pace that gives you room to breathe. Your days will hold a thoughtful mix of rainforest adventure, gentle movement, quiet reflection, nourishing meals, and unstructured time to simply rest.
Explore jungle trails, experience the wonder of ancient Mayan ruins, paddle through caves, connect with the natural world, and share laughter with women who understand the weight of carrying a lot. Each experience is intentionally balanced with spacious moments by the pool, slow mornings, meaningful conversations, and time to follow your own rhythm.
As a licensed psychotherapist, I guide this experience with a trauma-informed, wellness-centered approach. Through simple nervous-system tools, reflection, and meaningful conversation, you will have space to step out of autopilot, reconnect with play, and return home feeling more grounded, clear, and connected.
You do not need another trip where you are still managing the plans, the meals, and everyone else's needs. This is space to put down the mental load, reconnect with what matters, and remember that rest, joy, and adventure are not things you have to earn.
Come home with more than photos from the rainforest. Carry back a renewed sense of self, practical tools for the hard days, and a little more room to breathe in the life waiting for you.
If you've been waiting for a sign that it's time to choose yourself, this is it. Not because everything is falling apart. But because you deserve a life that feels sustainable, spacious, and fully alive.
